We are very excited to extend an invitation to you and your family, your friends and neighbors to join in a discussion with nationally renowned experts, Nancy Altman and Eric Kingson, who are the co-directors of Social Security Works! They recently authored a book entitled ‘Social Security Works! Why Social Security Isn’t Going Broke and How Expanding It Will Help Us All’.
The book takes on some of the myths and misleading assumptions being made about the current status and future of Social Security. Altman and Kingson also cover the importance of improvements such as ‘scrapping the cap’ so that millionaires and billionaires (folks like Sam Zell, the Chairman of Equity LifeStyle Properties, Inc.) pay their fair share to support the long term health of the program and creating better cost of living formula increases that reflect the real day to day expenses retirees face.
Two communities in Florida, Starlight Ranch in Orlando and Carriage Cove in Daytona, will be hosting events next week. The event at Starlight Ranch will be on March 12th from 5 to 6:30pm, and the one at Carriage Cove will be on March 13th from 5 to 6:30pm. We will be providing dinner and refreshments for attendees.
